I could fly the Mistral 6 in thermal conditions in Italy already and I can tell you, that it is an incredibly good performing 1-2/EN-B glider having a really nice handling for ambitious 1-2 pilots. The computed value of the glide ratio is just about 0,3 points less than the glide ratio of the Astral 6. Taking into account that the French magazine Vol Libre measured 9.45 for the Astral 6 you can imagine what we are talking about...  :) 

The load test has been passed successfully last week already and the EN test flights at the DHV will be performed as soon as the weather will improve.
We are optimistic that, depending on the size, the first Mistral 6 can be delivered around middle/end of March. So you can start placing your orders from now
